Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or otherwise using Propel, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you are using Propel on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that company. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into a contract to use Propel. The service is intended for business use by people who write proposals for clients.
Account responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account, for keeping your password confidential, and for everything that happens under your account. Do not share credentials. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. Where you generate a public share link for a proposal, you are responsible for who you send that link to, because anyone holding the link can open the proposal.
Acceptable use
Use Propel for lawful business purposes. You agree not to use the service to create or distribute content that is illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or infringing; to impersonate another business or person; to upload malicious code; to attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours; to probe, scan, or overload the infrastructure; to scrape the service systematically; or to resell access to the AI features as a standalone product. We may suspend accounts that put the stability or security of the service at risk.
Your content
You keep ownership of the information you put into Propel — your company details, client records, project briefs, pricing, and the proposals you produce. You grant us the limited permission needed to host, store, process, transmit, and display that content in order to run the service for you, including sending relevant parts of it to the AI provider when you request generation or editing. You are responsible for having the right to use any material you upload, including logos, images, case studies, and testimonials, and for the accuracy of the commitments you make to your clients in a proposal.
AI-generated content
Propel uses AI models to draft, restructure, score, and rewrite proposal content. AI output is probabilistic and can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. It is a first draft, not professional, legal, or financial advice. You must review and edit any generated content before sending it to a client, and you remain solely responsible for what you send. Identical or similar output may be produced for other users, so we make no claim that generated text is unique. AI features consume credits attached to your account and are subject to the availability and rate limits of the underlying model providers.
Intellectual property
Propel, including the application, its templates, its interface, and its branding, remains our property or that of our licensors. These terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you beyond the right to use the service. You may use the proposal structures and generated documents freely in your own business and with your own clients.
Third-party services
The service depends on third-party providers for hosting, database storage, authentication, and AI model access. Their availability and behaviour are outside our control, and interruptions or changes on their side may affect Propel. Where you choose to sign in with a third-party identity provider, that provider's terms also apply to that sign-in.
Payments
Propel does not currently process payments, take card details, or operate paid subscriptions through this website. AI usage is metered against a credit balance attached to your account. If paid plans are introduced, pricing, billing cycles, renewal, and refund terms will be presented before any charge is made, and these terms will be updated accordingly.
Service availability
We aim to keep Propel available and working, but the service is provided without any uptime guarantee. Maintenance, provider outages, and unexpected faults can interrupt access. We may add, change, or remove features as the product develops. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose — proposals can be printed or saved as PDF from within the product.
Changes to the service and these terms
We may update these terms when the product or the law changes. The revision date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will try to make that clear rather than bury it.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Propel at any time and request deletion of your account through the contact form. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if your use creates legal risk or threatens the service, or if we are required to do so by law. Where it is reasonable and lawful, we will give notice and an opportunity to correct the problem first.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that generated content will be accurate or suitable, or that using Propel will result in winning work.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business, lost data, or losses arising from a client relationship, whether or not we were advised such damages were possible. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions apply only to the extent permitted.
